Greeters are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests. These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Greeters may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction. You will also assist restaurant servers with guests.
Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment. This is for evening shifts primarily. May be asked to cover lunch at times.
Essential Job Functions
Transport guests to and from designated and approved locations using official hotel vehicles (cars or vans). Operate hotel vehicles in a safe manner and in accordance with established laws. Perform assigned duties associated with guest transportation (ex. maintain logs, show videos, etc.). Read, track and comply with guest transportation schedules established on a daily basis.
Properly maintain and clean hotel vehicles
Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
Assist with washing coffee mugs and drinking glasses.
Ensure that the lobby area is neat and clean, including picking up trash, keeping floors clean, including front entrance.
Assists Front Desk with guest requests such as delivering “towels, toiletry, etc.”
Walk the parking lot daily for excess trash.
Turns in all lost and found items and all guest room keys.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Perform any related duties as requested by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Push Heavy carts.
Bend and reach to dust, clean
Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services.
Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.
Lift all equipment and supplies on and off cart.
Must be 21 years of age to drive corporate shuttle.
