Accounting Clerk

About the Role:

This position is responsible for ensuring accurate processing of invoices, managing accounts payable, and performing bank reconciliations. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall financial reporting process by preparing journal entries and assisting with job costing. Additionally, the Accounting Clerk will collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
